School of Science, recently hosted Prof. Paul D. Topham from Aston University, United Kingdom, as part of the MFU Reinventing 2026 Program, a national initiative aimed at strengthening research capacity and fostering international academic collaboration.

School of Science, recently hosted Prof. Paul D. Topham from Aston University, United Kingdom, as part of the MFU Reinventing 2026 Program, a national initiative aimed at strengthening research capacity and fostering international academic collaboration. 

During his visit, Prof. Topham engaged with students and faculty in the Applied Chemistry (BAPC) program through a series of academic activities, including research seminars, and active learning sessions. His expertise in polymer science provided valuable insights into advanced material design for global sustainability, as well as contemporary research trends, enriching both teaching and learning experiences within the program.

The visit also included strategic meetings with the Dean, Prof. Surat Laphookhieo, and BAPC Co-ordinator, Asst. Prof. Patchara Punyamoonwongsa. In addition, discussions with Assoc. Prof. Panya Sunintaboon of Mahidol University further strengthened inter-institutional collaboration and opened opportunities for future joint research initiatives.

The MFU Reinventing Program plays a key role in positioning the School of Science as a hub for international collaboration, supporting the development of globally competent graduates and advancing Mae Fah Luang University's role in the global community.
